Kan vlot werken met grafische tekenprogramma’s zoals Inkscape en/of illustrator .
Kan een prototype maken van een geavanceerd kledingstuk?
Kan zowel zelfstandig als in team werken.
Kan zich zowel mondeling als schriftelijk vlot uitdrukken en geeft geen schrik van technische discussies.
Geïnteresseerd in nieuwe technologie.
Kan zich vlot uitdrukken in Nederlands, Frans en/of Engels?
We bieden: Een uitdagende functie dat je kennis van de klassieke methode uitdaagt om te vertalen naar een nieuwe innovatieve methode.
Multidisciplinair werken met: designers en software ontwikkelaars op academisch niveau.
Een stageopdracht van 3-6 maanden, met kleine compensatie. Waar kom je terecht: In een klein team waar je heel intensief samenwerkt met de ontwikkelaars van een nieuwe software voor patronen te tekenen, dit in regio Antwerpen. Keuze tussen voltijds/halftijds te werken. Mogelijkheid om enkele dagen in de week op afstand te werken. Laptop wordt voorzien. Geïnteresseerd? The student wil be involved in benchmarking, refining and testing a shape optimisation algorithm. Profile: Knowledge of calculus, numerical linear algebra and numerical optimisation.
Programming in python.
Is able to work independently and in team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Is able to communicate advanced technical subjects to experts from other domains.
Interested in the interaction between mathematical modelling, technology and real life applications.
